i wish i had done this with my son
My favorite part of the video is how little the kid is actually on the playmat, which was ostensibly purchased to be played on.

From a BBC article about Pamela Anderson’s petition to health officials in Mumbai to stop their plans to kill the estimated 70,000 stray dogs in the city and to consider sterilization instead:
Medical professional Samir Guliyani, a cyclist, said…. “She is hot but why is she writing to the municipal commissioner?”
I had a really negative experience at a McDonald’s a few weeks ago so when I went home I filled out the complaint form on McDonald’s website. Unlike most every other company, this was actually easy to find and was very specific about how to register your complaint. I received an e-mail reply back the next morning, a call from a district manager the next day with apologies and a promise to send fee coupons in the mail. So, in short they pretty much completely erased the negative experience away from my mind. Let’s take a peek at their stock chart:
Now, let’s look at XM Radio (or more specifically XM Sirius, the merged company). I am a subscriber and we listen to XM radio frequently in Evie’s car and I listen to their streams on my computer. I just pay a full year’s subscription in advance (probably stupid since they’re about to go under) a few months ago. I had a specific question regarding their web streams and my Sonos system in my house. The kind of question only a person could answer, not a machine. Still that is what XM tried to do, first before they would even show me a web form to ask a question, they they tried to answer the question with their computerized suggestions before they would allow me to submit the question. Once submitted I got a pointless response from XM Radio Canada a few days later that asked for me to send my radio ID (which was on the form I submitted, and was copied on their response). We reached the zone where it was no longer worth my time to fix their problem. I just remain unsatisfied now. Let’s take a peek at their stock:
OK, I know this is a blunt, simplistic comparison. But still… The cultures of the two companies couldn’t be more evident in how customer contact is handled. It is also pretty clear to me which company will still be around when Sam is old enough to buy breakfast for his kids and listen to radio in the car.
The Washington Post is reporting that CNN’s beefcake doc Sanjay Gupta (seen below) will be Obama’s new Surgeon General.

What? Were McDreamy, McSteamy or Dr. Ray all too busy to take the job?
